Bakin’ Me happy was created in 2023 by Riley Mahar. A young girl who has always had a love for baking, took a leap to create something very special. For now, Bakin’ Me happy is just for ordering sweet treats, but Riley has some big dreams for the future!
“The stigma behind mental health and therapy has become way more prominent and I want to bring awareness to it. I want to show that therapy doesn’t have to be scary and there are many great alternatives to traditional therapies”.
Riley a 20 year old college student at Suny Geneseo is an aspiring entrepreneur. As a psychology major, Riley has one goal in mind; turning Bakin’ Me Happy into baking therapy classes. She has participated in business competitions to propose baking therapy as an alternative method to traditional behavioral therapy. She has received amazing feedback from peers and professors and everyone wants this to be a reality.
Riley’s mission is to create a welcoming space that provides a supportive and therapeutic environment where individuals can navigate their mental health challenges and find joy through baking. She is dedicated to helping future clients in developing coping skills, boos self esteem, and improve overall mental well-being.
While Riley is working hard to make her dream a reality, She still wants to help satisfy the sweet tooth’s of her customers! In the summer time and on college breaks she works hard to make delicious treats and desserts for her customers! With this new website ordering her amazing creations should be a breeze!
